Brazil Impex has been supplying stones to the domestic and foreign markets for jewelry manufacturers for 10 years. The main stones we supply are Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, Tanzanite, Rubellite, Paraiba Tourmaline, Morganite, Kunzite, Blue Topaz and Quartz in general. We also cut calibrated stones for production lines and special cutting orders.

The lapping process and the polishing process differ in two main aspects:
Lapping is able to reduce the roughness from relatively high values to very low values, unlike polishing, which must already receive the piece to be worked on with a relatively low roughness, but which has a higher surface quality.
Lapping can give the piece the shape of the tool used, while polishing only aims to improve surface quality, with material removal taking second place.
